Blender | Smart Light Volume Probe

INSTALLING
Download the python file from the add-on page. In Blender, go to edit -> preferences -> add-ons -> click top right arrow -> install from disk -> locate "Smart_Volume_Probe.py" -> Install -> Enjoy!

Update 13/04: You can set the offset to be negative as well, making it even easier to place the outer points inside of the wall!

This add-on is completely FREE! The price below is just a suggested amount in case you'd like to get me a coffee, so don't worry about that. You can just fill in 0 and get it!

This add-on will automatically place a Light Probe (Volume) around your SELECTED object. You'll be able to set the Grid Spacing (resolution) as well as the offset of the outer points around the object to play around with the light clipping.

NOTE: It's important for the add-on that your room (square) does NOT have its ROTATIONS applied.
